Another Sleepless Night
As you can probably tell from the title, my insomnia is acting up once again but as y’all know, this really isn’t anything new. I had thought that I was going to be able to sleep through the night…but nope, I was woken up by my dog wanting to go outside at about 1 in the morning. For some reason, my body is convinced that once I get out of bed – for any reason – it is time to get up.
I know that this will be extremely beneficial when I get a job, when I go back to school. But it is just annoying at the current time. Plus, it takes me so long to shut my mind down and to actually go to sleep. Sometimes I am seriously considering moving to Australia or somewhere like that…then perhaps I’d have what is considered to be a normal sleep schedule.
But anyways, I am sure that y’all are sick of hearing about my insomnia because I am definitely tired of obsessing over it.
Anyways, since I have been up since one o’clock this morning…I have been trying to get some things accomplished. Actually, I’ve been playing games on Facebook, eating Angel food cake with strawberries and whip cream, and watching Real Steel. Nothing productive in the slightest bit…beyond drafting this entry in my head and trying to figure out what exactly that I need to cover in this post. Alright, here goes nothing.
To begin with, I have somehow managed to win The Large Chunky (Skylish) Quiz – which basically means that I have no life. Seriously, I don’t.
It also means that I get a year of advertisement and anything from Catherine’s design shop for free.
I decided to get a WordPress theme, as I need one for my new domain that is currently a subdomain.
I will reveal more details about this at a later date.
When it comes to this site, I have made some changes in the navigation. I am no longer going to offer content – beyond subdomain hosting on here. I don’t feel that my graphics, layouts, themes, etc. are of a high enough quality at the current time. However, I will still be practicing at making all of the above, and I will post them in random entries as time goes by.
Well, I am going to end this because I need to make another cup of Honey Vanilla Chamomille tea and I need to do some work on my other projects. I hope that y’all have a nice day!

It has been 2012 for fifteen hours, and thus far it has been rather uneventful to my knowledge. Of course, there is a wind advisory where I live…so that may have something to do with it. I am amazed by how many people have made resolutions to lose weight, get better organized, etc. To be completely honest, I have never gotten the point of making resolutions that you know you aren’t going to keep. I know that you probably have the best of intentions…but how many resolutions are made when you are drunk? How many of past resolutions have you kept past the end of January? I mean, why not make resolutions that you can keep? For example, I resolve to eat more chocolate or I resolve to waste 6 hours a day playing games on Facebook…easy things, things that you know you will be able to do. Of course, I guess that the main purpose of making resolutions is to try and improve your life. Yet, is it improving your life if you make a goal and don’t reach it? I suppose that you could argue that you are a better person for having worked toward something, and failed. But how does failing make someone a better person? Personally, when I fail I have a tendency to want to crawl into bed and stay there for the next 10 years or so.
Despite this rather pessimistic/defeatist attitude about New Year’s Resolutions, I still make a couple every single year. However, I think that it is better to review which of my ones from last year to see what I still need to improve upon.1
Goals for 2012
- I will start doing 10 crunches per day.
- I will drink more water and limit my soda consumption to once per day.
- I will finish all of my current projects before starting any new ones. This does not include the projects that have been postponed.
- I will attend more social events on my own, even if it is just going to watch a game at the local High School.
- I will post at least 3 entries per week on each of my currently opened blogs.
- I will find a job and go back to University.
I am sure that I will add other goals, resolutions, to this list but these are the main items that I want to concentrate on in the coming year. So, what does this mean for you, my loyal readers 2? It means that I will be completing pages on here on a daily basis, that I will be doing a meme or two, that you will be able to learn more about my life away from this site. Sounds exciting, doesn’t it? Well, I am off to go find this comic I read in the Sunday paper and to post it on my Tumblr. Plus, I am wanting to take a nap. :tired: I hope that everyone had a great 2011, and I wish you a happy and productive 2012!
