Well, it’s the beginning of a new month so I thought that I’d tell you a bit about what to expect on Bemusedly this coming month. I’m not promising that all of this will happen, or even be covered in a post…it all depends on my urge to write and what I am in the urge to write about. I am hoping to add anywhere from 1500 to 5000 words to my novel, write at least 5 poems, and complete my short story…this doesn’t include writing Honey’s Blog for February 1, coding the tutorials and articles for Fallen Heart, and all of the other writing that I am planning to do that probably won’t be read by anyone but myself. I am also hoping to finally get my bedroom cleaned and organized – I really need to go through my clothes but it seriously depresses me and makes me feel as if I weigh more than I actually do. (I weigh 150 lbs. if you care to know.) I am also in the process of creating gifts for the current Q*Bee activity. Plus, I am working on an idea for the Valentine’s Day card exchange for the Q*Bee. What is keeping you busy this month?
In other news, it seems as if the entire country is obsessed with the Super Bowl. 2 I am not too concerned with it myself, but if you are curious – I hope that the Giants win. I have four reasons for this. First, I absolutely love the movie Little Giants and I am well aware that this isn’t a valid reason, but I’m a girl.
Second, Tom Brady is a douche. Third, Eli Manning is hot…the proof’s here, but of course I seem to have a thing for guys with brown hair.
Fourth, Brandon Jacobs – running back extraordinaire – went to the same university that I did, and that I am planning to attend once more in the not-so-distant future. Go Dawgs!
Since we’re on the topic of football and the NFL, I’d like to wish Nick Hill the best of luck on his journey to becoming a member of the Green Bay Packers. Although to be honest, I’d be much more impressed if you’d sign with the Bears…but congratulations anyways! Moving across country, can I just say that I LOVE the new Jockey advertisement with the very sexy, yummy Tim Tebow. However, I’m a bit curious about why he’s wearing a pair of jeans?! I mean, seriously – show us the merchandise.3

Moving on but still on the topic of advertisement, I absolutely love the new Chevy Silverado commercial. You can view it below, and I just want to say that they did an excellent job with it. If you drive a Ford, I offer my apologies.
Well, I am off to go work on something or to take a nap. But here is the rest of the poem that this entry’s title came from…or all that I could find.
“Away in a meadow all covered with snow
The little old groundhog looks for his shadow
The clouds in the sky determine our fate
If winter will leave us all early or late.”
Don Halley
I’ll try to post another entry a bit sooner than I posted this one, but as I said previously, I never know what mood I’ll be in.
Mood:

Please don’t shoot me…I know that I said I would post photos of all my lovely Christmas presents in my next entry and I am going to definitely do this. However, I have yet to receive one of them – there has been a bit of a delay in the monetary department. 1 I am hoping that he will hear something in the coming week or two, and that I can have it sometime in February.
I have a question for you, if you could get a laptop right now – without having to pay anything and you cannot get a Mac 2 – what would you get? I am leaning towards getting a Sony Vaio E-Series Laptop in Pink. You can view pictures and everything of it by going here. There is a Mac on sale on CraigsList for $1799 – the exact title says Apple MacBook Pro, 15 ”, Core i5 Processor, with Adobe CS5 installed!. Sadly, it is a bit out of my budget at the current time – but I may be getting a job soon. *fingers crossed* Oh, boy…this paragraph has bounced from topic to topic, and I am extremely sorry about that.
But I have reached a decision about what to do regarding my replying to comments – comments will be answered here on Bemusedly unless a direct question is asked, and then I’ll send an e-mail to the person. I would like to thank everyone who provided input on this issue. It really helps me to know how others deal with certain website/blogging issues.
It was also refreshing to know that others have the same problem that I do about making themselves understood. As Karin said in her comment on the previous post, I think everyone who has an active online presence have the same problems with expressing themselves. Body language and tone of voice IS a huge part of how humans communicate, and on top of that is all kinds of cultural differences and customs. It is amazing how different gestures mean different things in various parts of the world – for example, in Muslim countries it is considered a terrible insult to shake hands with your left hand.
What if you’re left-handed? You can view the Top 10 Rude Gestures Around the World for yourself.
Since it seems that I am on the topic of being rude, what are some of the things that you consider to be rude personally? I am personally annoyed when you ask someone a question, and they don’t answer it. Or when you ask someone how they did a specific thing on their website, and they tell you to Google it. If I am asking you how you did something, I have already done that and Google has popped up with over a zillion pages. 3
In site news, I have changed my emoticons to lovely mouse ones that I found on DeviantArt and I am in the process of changing the Mood ones as well. You will also notice that I have removed everything but the Mood from the beginning of the entry. My reasoning for this is that it usually takes me a day or two to finish posting an entry – I have the tendency to write them out first and add stuff to them as I go. Therefore, I am usually, if not always, finished with whatever book that I mentioned reading, food that I mentioned eating, etc. I originally started listing all of this – because I thought that it would help me to stay in the moment when writing blogs. Sadly, it didn’t help.
Now, it is time to end this as I need to do some work on my other projects and I am going to share this video with you – simply because it is stuck in my head for some reason.
Plus, I absolutely love TBBT.

I am currently single with a semi-serious crush. I am currently unemployed, and working on going back to school. I am extremely impatient, disorganized, impulsive, hyperactive, and indecisive. I can be a bit conceited, stubborn, and obnoxious. I am always sweet, loyal, sociable, talkative, and friendly. I am addicted to my website, the
