Mood:

Please don’t shoot me…I know that I said I would post photos of all my lovely Christmas presents in my next entry and I am going to definitely do this. However, I have yet to receive one of them – there has been a bit of a delay in the monetary department. 1 I am hoping that he will hear something in the coming week or two, and that I can have it sometime in February.
I have a question for you, if you could get a laptop right now – without having to pay anything and you cannot get a Mac 2 – what would you get? I am leaning towards getting a Sony Vaio E-Series Laptop in Pink. You can view pictures and everything of it by going here. There is a Mac on sale on CraigsList for $1799 – the exact title says Apple MacBook Pro, 15 ”, Core i5 Processor, with Adobe CS5 installed!. Sadly, it is a bit out of my budget at the current time – but I may be getting a job soon. *fingers crossed* Oh, boy…this paragraph has bounced from topic to topic, and I am extremely sorry about that.
But I have reached a decision about what to do regarding my replying to comments – comments will be answered here on Bemusedly unless a direct question is asked, and then I’ll send an e-mail to the person. I would like to thank everyone who provided input on this issue. It really helps me to know how others deal with certain website/blogging issues.
It was also refreshing to know that others have the same problem that I do about making themselves understood. As Karin said in her comment on the previous post, I think everyone who has an active online presence have the same problems with expressing themselves. Body language and tone of voice IS a huge part of how humans communicate, and on top of that is all kinds of cultural differences and customs. It is amazing how different gestures mean different things in various parts of the world – for example, in Muslim countries it is considered a terrible insult to shake hands with your left hand.
What if you’re left-handed? You can view the Top 10 Rude Gestures Around the World for yourself.
Since it seems that I am on the topic of being rude, what are some of the things that you consider to be rude personally? I am personally annoyed when you ask someone a question, and they don’t answer it. Or when you ask someone how they did a specific thing on their website, and they tell you to Google it. If I am asking you how you did something, I have already done that and Google has popped up with over a zillion pages. 3
In site news, I have changed my emoticons to lovely mouse ones that I found on DeviantArt and I am in the process of changing the Mood ones as well. You will also notice that I have removed everything but the Mood from the beginning of the entry. My reasoning for this is that it usually takes me a day or two to finish posting an entry – I have the tendency to write them out first and add stuff to them as I go. Therefore, I am usually, if not always, finished with whatever book that I mentioned reading, food that I mentioned eating, etc. I originally started listing all of this – because I thought that it would help me to stay in the moment when writing blogs. Sadly, it didn’t help.
Now, it is time to end this as I need to do some work on my other projects and I am going to share this video with you – simply because it is stuck in my head for some reason.
Plus, I absolutely love TBBT.

I am currently single with a semi-serious crush. I am currently unemployed, and working on going back to school. I am extremely impatient, disorganized, impulsive, hyperactive, and indecisive. I can be a bit conceited, stubborn, and obnoxious. I am always sweet, loyal, sociable, talkative, and friendly. I am addicted to my website, the

That clip of TBBT was hilarious! I’ve only seen a few episodes of that show, but it’s soooo funny! haha
Hmm I’d go for the Mac simplky because it comes with a lot of things built in which ultimately will save you money later. Vaios are nice, I used to really want one of those. Right now I’m investing in an HP G72. Efficient, nice size, affordable. :]
P.S. I tagged you in this “11 Questions” blog meme! It’s optional, but fun! http://sophisticandy.org/2012-01/socialize-me-1/

I’d love to get the Mac…but it is a tad out of my price range at the moment.
I’ll probably end up getting a Sony Vaio.

The pizza is half and half, one side is Hawaiian (cheese, pineapple and ham) whilst the other is meat lovers (basically a combination of various meats, I have no idea what’s in it myself to be quite honest lol!) I also had double the amount of tomato paste, simply because I prefer my pizzas that way…
Currently I am in the midst of watching Pretty Little Liars, Gossip Girl and The Secret Life of the American Teenager. Yesterday I started watching One Tree Hill, after countless recommendations from my friends.
That laptop doesn’t look too bad! From what I’ve heard, just avoid Dell – their computers are absolutely horrid.
There are about a million things that I think are rude, but strangely I can’t think of anything at the moment… I’ll get back to you on that.

“t is amazing how different gestures mean different things in various parts of the world – for example, in Muslim countries it is considered a terrible insult to shake hands with your left hand. What if you’re left-handed? ”
I am currently living in a Muslim country and I think this is wrong. It is not exactly a TERRIBLE INSULT if you shake hands using your left hand. It is just not the “norms”. And it is a norm to shake hands with our right hands anyway. I’ve travelled a lot and I’ve never met anyone who extended their left hand in order to shake my hands before (be it whether he or she is a Muslim or not).
My cousin, he is left handed. But he still extends his right hand when he meet new people. Maybe there are left handed people who shakes hand with their left hand but I’ve yet to meet one.
“Or when you ask someone how they did a specific thing on their website, and they tell you to Google it.”
LOL! This reminds me of a friend of mine. She had asked a professor a question and he told her to “Google it”. She snapped and told him, “I did not pay $40,000+ per year just to Google stuff, Professor!”
Cute emoticons you have there. Good choice.

Have you ever checked out the refurbished Apple products on their website. I know refurbished isn’t what people look for, but some prices are pretty good. You should take a lot. Tho, I haven’t bought anything in their refurbished section, but have been looking through there for some time. Not as bad.

I write most of my blog posts in the middle of the night, and then comb back over them in the morning because goodness only knows what came out of my brain at the time I wrote it!
One rude custom I remember hearing about is that it is rude to point your feet at people in India, and that it is best to stand with your feet in a V formation when talking to someone.
