Tag Me Twice, Shame on You

Feeling: Sleepy
Reading: The Human Disguise – James O’Neal
Hearing: Adele – Someone Like You
Consuming: Dr Pepper

To be completely honest, I wasn;t planning to post another entry until after the new year…but these people keep tagging me and I figured that I need to post this entry before I have to spend a whole week answering all of the questions. :P In all seriousness, the site is still technically under going maintenance as I am determined to complete all of the planned content by the time the site turns 2 on May 6th. Plus, I still need to do some work on my beauty and fashion blog…and I’ve decided to not start a message board, at least not until I can find someone to help with it. Alrighty then, I’ll post what was tagged and then y’all can see my favorite Christmas gift from this year. :D

I was tagged by the following people: Isi, Cher, and Bhairavi. I am waiting to hear from Bhairavi about the questions she wants me to answer, so this post will be edited at that point. Alrighty then, here is the tag part of the entry. I also have to tag 11 people, so please read this entry carefully and completely to see if you’ve been tagged. :)

The Rules

  • You must post these rules.
  • Each person must post 11 things about themselves in their journal.
  • Answer the questions the tagger set for you in their post, and create eleven new questions for the people you tag to answer.
  • You have to choose 11 people to tag and link them on the post.
  • Go to their page and tell them you have tagged him/her.
  • No tag backs.
  • No “you are tagged if you are reading this.” You legitimately have to tag 11 people (as in list out their names).

The Facts

  1. If I ever have children, I’d like to have 3 boys and 2 girls. The boys will be named Brendan James, Caulen Joseph, and Jamison Thomas. The girls will be named Calleigh Nichole and Addison Elizabeth.
  2. I would love to have a girl Yorkie, and I’d name her Coco Baccardi – simply because I like the way that it sounds when you say it out loud. Try it.
  3. I do my best thinking, reading, etc. in a warm, bubble bath. I’d probably do my best sleeping here as well, if it weren’t for that whole – drowning thing. :dead:
  4. I have known how to read since I was 3 years old, and I am usually reading 3 or 4 different books at the same time.
  5. I have never seen a single episode of Keeping Up With The Kardashians or any other reality television show that isn’t a competition.
  6. I am the only person in my immediate family – my Mom and two younger brothers – that cannot draw worth a lick.
  7. I am completely and totally obsessed with weddings, despite the fact that I have never been to one.
  8. I am extremely disorganized in an anal-retentive organized way. I promise that I have a system, even if it doesn’t make sense to anyone else.
  9. I have discovered that I cannot go to sleep unless I drink a cup of Celestial Seasonings Sleepytime Vanilla Herbal Tea, take a warm bubble bath, write in my journal, and have on a pair of warm, cozy pajamas.
  10. I adore makeup and fashion, as long as both are tastefully done, and I am in the process of creating a blog to encourage girls, young ladies, to enhance their natural beauty and to not compare themselves to celebrities, the images in the media.
  11. My favorite sport of all time is American football. There is something about the electricity in the air before a game, and it doesn’t matter what the stakes are.
  12. Questions from Cher

    • What’s a pet peeve of yours? Asking a person a question and not getting an answer in return.
    • Can you tolerate Justin Bieber? Actually, now that he doesn’t have that dorky haircut, he’s kinda cute. Plus, his newer stuff isn’t as annoying as his song Baby.
    • Which book/movie/song gets you thinking the most? Hm…the book that gets me thinking the most is The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho. The movie that gets me thinking the most is A Clockwork Orange, perhaps Stanley Kubrick’s greatest work. The song that gets me thinking the most is one by Billy Joel called We Didn’t Start The Fire.
    • Favourite/Most interesting historical event? It is difficult for me to choose just one, so I will tell you my top three. The first one is the French Revolution, then comes the Holocaust, and the third is the American Revolution.
    • What topping would you put on your froyo/ice cream/dessert? It depends on my mood…right now, I’m craving vanilla ice cream topped with hot fudge, marshmallow sauce, and graham crackers…a la s’mores. :)
    • Which languages can you speak and which would you like to learn? Sadly, I can only speak English despite the fact that I took 4+ years of Spanish. I’d love to learn to speak Hungarian, Russian, French, German, Italian, etc.
    • Which alphabet do you like most in your handwriting? Hm, I’m guessing that you mean between print and cursive…so considering that my handwriting is a combination of print and cursive, I’d have to say both.
    • What does your shampoo smell like? The kind that I am currently using smells like shampoo. Sorry, but it really doesn’t smell like anything. My favorite shampoo which is Tresemmé Anti-Breakage Shampoo smells like apples. :D
    • Where were you when you came up with your site name? I was at my old neighbor’s house, because he told me that if I could come up with the name that day, he’d pay for it and hosting. :)
    • Favourite CSS property? I don’t know if I have one…Sorry.
    • What must you have with you at all times and why? A notebook and a pencil…because I never know when inspiration for a story, a poem, a blog entry will strike me. My cell phone…because I have clingy family members and they freak out if they cannot get a hold of me. :P

    Questions from Isi

    • What do you think the “K” in K-mart stands for? It stands for Kwikee, as they stole the name from The Simpsons. They had to call it K-Mart, so they wouldn’t get sued by the creators of The Simpsons.
    • When life gives you lemons, do you really make lemonade? Negatory, I make a lemon launcher and shoot them right back, screaming “Make Your Own Damn Lemonade!”
    • If you were to get pregnant/get a girl pregnant, what would you do? If this were to happen, I’d totally freak out and it would be by immaculate conception.
    • What would you do differently if you knew nobody would judge you? Nothing, I’ve learned that life is too short to not do the things that you love, to not be the person that you want to be.
    • When it’s all said and done, will you have said more than you’ve done? I definitely hope not. I have so many dreams, wishes, and desires and I will achieve all of them. :D
    • What is the one thing you’d most like to change about the world? I’d like to eliminate hatred, animosity, and fear because they are the reasons that we have all of the violence that we are currently seeing in the world today.
    • Are you doing what you believe in, or are you settling for what you are doing? At the current time, I fear that I am settling but I have realized that some of the deepest changes begin within, and that you must wait for them to come to the surface.
    • If the average human life span was 40 years, how would you live your life differently? I don’t think that I would…simply because I believe that everything happens when it is suppose to happen.
    • Would you break the law to save a loved one? There is absolutely no question that I would break the law to save a loved one. Of course, I’d also break the law to save a complete stranger or my worst enemy…every single life is precious.
    • Would you rather lose all of your old memories, or never be able to make new ones? Lose all of my old memories, because I can barely remember anything from my past…so it wouldn’t make much of a difference.
    • If you knew that everyone you know was going to die tomorrow, who would you visit today? Not a single person, because they’d all be out visiting other people. Plus, I imagine some of the people I’d like to visit and meet like all of my blog readers, the members of the Q*Bee, etc. will probably spend some time online.

    Questions from Bhairavi

    • What was your favorite show to watch as a child? Describe it a bit. (Do you still watch it now?) My favorite show to watch as a child…hm…this was a long time ago, but I’d have to say Small Wonder. The storylines revolved around V.I.C.I. (an acronym for “Voice Input Child Identicant”, pronounced Vicki), an android in the form of a 10-year-old girl, built by Ted Lawson, an engineer/inventor for United Robotronics, in an effort to assist handicapped children. The robot is taken home by Lawson so that it can mature within a family environment. V.I.C.I.’s features include superhuman strength and speed, an AC outlet under her right arm, a serial port under her left arm, and an access panel in her back. Despite this, the Lawson family tries to pass the robot off as their adopted daughter. Sadly, it was cancelled after three seasons, or I’d probably be watching it if it was still on. It’s not even showing re-runs.
    • Give the chronology of your past favorite colors. Hm…I have been pretty consistent with my favorite colors, shades of blue. I’m not really picky. I remember that both my dresses for Junior Prom and Senior Prom were navy blue, and I had this really pretty pale blue turtleneck sweater from AE that I wore constantly my second or third semester of college.
    • Which came first—the chicken or the egg? Explain. The egg, because there were eggs before there were chickens. Dinosaurs came from eggs! Rawr!
    • Give a two-sentence review of the last movie you’ve seen. I don’t remember the last movie that I saw, which means that it wasn’t very memorable. Plus, I don’t watch that many movies, or much television in general.
    • Plankton or Mr. Krabs? Gee…you want me to choose between envy and greed.1 :P I’ll have to go with Plankton, because if he annoys me too much I can just step on him. :D
    • How did you come to own a website? Pure boredom. I was in the library at college with absolutely nothing to do, and I decided to check out the now closed Geocities…the rest is history.
    • What is your favorite song, and how do you relate to it? My current favorite song is So Small by Carrie Underwood. It reminds me to keep things in perspective, which I sometimes have a hard time doing.
    • What’s your favorite board game and why? Candyland, Chutes and Ladders, all of the games that you play as a child. Because it’s impossible to take them seriously, and being competitive with them is almost impossible.
    • Why are you special? I’m special because I answer such awesome questions like this!
    • What is your favorite core subject in school? English is definitely my favorite subject, beyond Psychology, but that’s not a core subject. :)
    • How have you been lately? Well, right now, I have a bit of a headache. Plus I’ve been really bored and unmotivated lately. I need to create a new layout for my Q*Bee quilt page.

Wow you got tagged twice, hehe. And thank you for the tag, i know when you run out of people to tag, you start going back in your comments, and i remember commenting recently lol.

You are right, the post did get long, but that’s because of all the questions, still it is long. I’ll be sure to return in the new year to see what your fav Christmas present was :)

    Happy New Year!

Actually, I got tagged by three different people for the same one. :P I’d considered doing each one separately, but then I’d have to come up with 33 facts and no one wants to know that much about me. :)

Good idea to write the post now. That is one long tag. :)

I’m the same with reality shows. I used to watch Prime time In No Time (which rushes through all of them in 3 minutes) and it is the only reason I’ve heard of the Kardashians or Jersey Shore.

I really want to go to a live gridiron football game, then maybe I’ll understand what all the fuss is really about. But even having said that, football is also one of my favorite sports to watch.

I’ve heard Bieber called annoying for many reasons but I never thought of his song ‘Baby’ as annoying. But now I can see the word is kind of redundant. :)

Oh, I adore football. I’ve been wanting to go see a friend of mine play, he’s the quarterback for an AFL team down in Florida. :)

His voice was just so annoyingly high pitched during the Baby period. :P

They’re AMAZING! Is that the red one or the pink one?

Dang, that’s a lot of tags!

5 Children? I don’t think I could handle all that. Maybe two or three for me LOL. Elizabeth’s my middle name! Well, it’s my English one. :3

I do my best thinking right before I sleep. I just lay there under the covers & think about the most ridiculous things ever.

I used to read a lot when I was younger. Well… as so I was told. I stopped reading because I don’t like it anymore. The books that we have to read in English for school is just boring. And I guess that turned me off books.

NEVER EVER SEEN AN EPISODE OF KARDASHIANS!? WHAT EVEN… where have you been!? Lol, I lost cable so I can’t watch any of the Kardashian reality shows. D: I usually hate them all, but this one is so funny. There’s just so much drama.

Don’t feel bad, I can’t draw either. The only person in my family that can is my younger sister. *ashamed*

I LOVE WEDDINGS TOO! I’ve only been to one, which was kind of boring to be quite honest lol. But I still love weddings. :3 Because the dresses are amazing & the bride + groom look so totally in love.

I love makeup more than fashion. :3 I’ve been obsessed since I was a sophomore (I’m a senior now)! I can’t wait to see the blog once it’s finished!

It’s the red one. :) Five children really isn’t that much to me, but I’d be pretty happy with just having one. I’ll admit that I don’t read as much as I used to…working on websites takes a lot of time. :P I’ve been meaning to check out the Kardashians, but I keep forgetting to watch it. Plus, I don’t think it is available online?! I’ll be sure to let you know when I get FallenHeart completed. :)

Good luck in completing your goals for your website! I always get overwhelmed when I have too many projects going… that’s why I turned my blog into a universal place to post and share EVERYTHING without needing to maintain multiple blogs!

Wowzah! That’s a lot of questions. Tags are always fun! Which reminds me, a friend of mine tag me… I should go do that! haha!

What’s a pet peeve of yours? Asking a person a question and not getting an answer in return. – Amen to that! My parents do that to me all the time, it seriously annoys me! Dx

Haa, I had a dream that I one got pregnant, but I was a pregnant virgin, and my parents kicked me out of the house lool. Scary times.

You’ve never seen KUWTK!? Ah I love that show. I only caught one episode one some years ago and literally after that episode was hooked! Trust me, watch one and you’ll (maybe) love it. :P There’s just so much drama. XD

HI JESS!! :) Thanks so much for visiting my site!

WHOAH WHAT A POST! I actually loved reading it and reminds me of my grade school years when I answered memes like this on friendster. Do you mind if I answer some of these? hahaah! XD I’ll be adding it as a page on the about me section XD hahaha!

But whoah I love the names that you have for your kids especially Calleigh. It’s unique and not bully-able (I always question myself when thinking names if it can be made fun of O_O). Clockwork Orange was something to remember! Not my favorite movie but it was one of my first Stanley Kubrick films but I think I like The Shining better. I started reading at 3 too! Oh and you can learn french and anything online now :) I studied 4 months in france but wasn’t able to really learn the language. am trying now with Rosetta Stone and online. It helps though that I was able to go there and got used to hearing French! :)

I’m kinda planning my own wedding in my head now 8D but it would take funds, oh man! XD lol!

I knew a guy called Addison and everyone called him Madison as a joke. XD All those names are lovely though! I don’t think I’d want many children but I like the names Estelle and Annie for girls and Benjamin and Scott for boys… I have a few others, but I’m still too young to think about kids so yeah.

I dislike being tagged so I only do a tag once… except once I got tagged three times for the same tag. Bahah. If anyone else tagged me after that I politely commented on their blog and did the tag in my comment. They would have wanted to see my answers and that way they still will. :D

About changing the world, I chose to change discrimination, make sure there is none of it at all. Isi tagged me with that too. It’s just terrible how much hatred is in the world right now. :(

I know you were on a revamp but I hope you get to fix up your site over the new year break! My website’s birthday was in October and I’ve tried to have a little celebration with a new layout and stuff but it wasn’t until this year that I decided to clean up some stuff and remove pointless pages.

Have a great new year! :)

Tagging sounds awesome, though it seems a little tiresome when you have just posted a blog post and do not wish to edit it. It’s amazing how this bonds people who are completely strangers, really. I mean, once you get tagged and post your answers, the person who reads it will know a lot about you. Just by reading. It’s brilliant.

I’ve seen this tag so many times, lulz. I got tagged but was too lazy to fill it out.

I don’t think I’d ever want to have more than two kids. Five is way too much for me, but if you ever have five kids, I will have the utmost respect for you. Childbirth scares the crap out of me.

I never actually cared about Justin Bieber. I’ve heard both sides: People who adore him, and people who hate him. He’s just another successful artist out there.

That’s a lot of kids. I don’t know if I’d want to get pregnant that many times. Also, that is the best answer to the chicken or the egg question that I have ever read. If I ever wind up repeating it to someone else, I’ll be sure to think of you and to tell them it was a gem from the depths of the Internet.

I think that I got tagged five times, and wound up not tagging anyone because everyone I had tagged had already done it!
